A little driftwood. A few smooth black stones. Some natural textures. And apparently, I decided they all needed to live together.
The Living Grove is a one-of-a-kind botanical display that brings a little piece of nature indoors—without requiring an entire windowsill.
Handcrafted from clear resin, natural driftwood, black river stones, jute, and a burlap flower tucked beneath the surface, this little garden has room for three air plants and your favorite propagation cutting.
Two air plants can settle into the natural curves of the driftwood, while a third finds its home in a glossy black holder. A clear plastic propagation vase gives a cutting its own space to grow roots and become something new.
What I especially love about this piece is how much it changes depending on where you put it. On a wooden table, it feels warm and earthy. Against a lighter surface, the stones and driftwood take center stage. Add your plants, and the whole thing comes alive.
And because nature wasn't particularly interested in making matching pieces of driftwood, neither was I.
